DuPage County Animal Services
May 2016 - August 2016
Helping all pets have a home
Throughout my time volunteering for DuPage County Animal Services, I had the opportunity to interact with both rescue rabbits and dogs that were up for adoption. I started as a volunteer for feeding and caring for the rabbits until I had completed the canine care orientation. Shortly after, I transitioned to caring for the dogs on the adoption floor by socializing, feeding, walking, and exercising them.

Starkey Hearing Foundation
August 2016 - March 2018
Give the gift of hearing
Throughout my time as a volunteer for the Starkey Hearing Foundation, I was able to engage in planning/participating in fundraisers, raising money, and increasing awareness. As a Delta Zeta member, I was able to learn more about the deaf community and what the Starkey Hearing Foundation stood for, and the action they took to help the individuals in need. Our philanthropy events involved educating others and raising money to help deaf people in need of hearing aids, assistance, and the resources they needed.

The Painted Turtle Camp
August 2016 - March 2018
Bringing the magic of camp to you
The Painted Turtle camp was another one of Delta Zeta's philanthropic partners where our proceeds would go towards. I took part as a volunteer for the camp by raising money, awareness, and creating crafts and letters for the children of the camp. These personalized gifts were something that made me feel like I was going to be able to bring a smile to a child's face, and for that I was grateful.
